SWA SSTRB520-4.6 Description

The SWA SSTRB520-4.6 are superior quality stainless steel roller ball cable ties manufactured from 316 grade steel, measuring 520mm in length and 4.6mm in width supplied in packs of 100 ties. Typically used in extreme conditions where corrosion and weathering are a concern or where additional strength, security and/or fire resistance is required.

Manufactured from 316L stainless steel with a high tensile strength, the non-releasable self-locking head design speeds installation and locks into place at any length along the tie. Roller ball ties have a locking ball bearing which grips the tie strap and locks the tie as it is tensioned.

A smooth surface and rounded edges assures user safety and protection for items being tied. The fully enclosed head does not allow dirt or grit to interfere with the locking mechanism.

Due to the high melting-point of 316 stainless steel, these cable ties are generally accepted as fire-resistant, making them suitable for complying with the IET Wiring Regulations - 18th Edition in preventing the premature collapse of cabling in the event of a fire.

Designed for both internal and external applications where corrosion, vibration, weathering, radiation and temperature extremes are a concern - including underground direct burial use.

While it is certainly possible to do these ties up by hand or consider the SSTCT1 or CTSSG cable tie tensioning tools.
