Knightsbridge Metalclad 13A Connection Units
The Knightsbridge Metalclad 13A Connection Unit range combines heavy-duty construction with a choice of fused spur configurations for commercial, industrial, workshop and garage applications. Options include switched and unswitched connection units, with selected models incorporating neon indicators or front flex outlets to suit different equipment and circuit requirements.
Standard models feature a durable powder-coated steel Metalclad finish with white urea inserts, providing increased resistance to everyday knocks and wear where conventional moulded accessories may be more vulnerable to damage. Switched versions provide double pole operation, while the M6RCD adds 30mA passive Type A RCD protection for applications requiring additional protection.
The standard connection units are rated at 13A 230V 50Hz and supplied complete with heavy-duty surface mounting boxes featuring multiple 20mm knockouts. With a coordinated appearance and a useful choice of control and protection options, the range provides electricians with a practical Metalclad solution for permanently connected electrical equipment.
