Aico EI170RF Description

The Ei170RF is a RadioLINK™ strobe light alarm for the deaf and hard of hearing in any required room. It is designed to give a visual and physical warning in the event of the alarm system being triggered. The Ei170RF consists of a control box with integral strobe and a plug-in vibration pad.

The Ei170RF is designed to be powered from a permanent mains power supply and is supplied with a 13A 3-pin plug. It also contains a rechargeable lead acid battery that provides back-up power in the event of mains failure.

The Ei170RF has a built-in high intensity Xenon strobe with a specially designed lens that provides wide-angle light output. An integral ‘Test’ button on the front of the unit, allows an easy means of testing the strobe, vibration pad and the RadioLINK™ alarms in the system.

The vibration pad has a simple plug-in connector and is designed to be placed under a pillow to wake people who fail to respond to the visual strobe.

The Ei170RF uses advanced transceiver and signal coding technology to ensure robust and reliable RF signaling. It also has a House-Code feature that allows a system of RadioLINK™ alarms and devices to be coded together to prevent interference with neighboring systems.

The Ei170RF has clear LEDs for power transmission, fault and alarm. There is also an auxiliary 3.5mm mono jack plug socket on top of the unit for connecting to an alarm clock (5V to 24V AC or DC output).
