Aico EI171RF Description
The Ei171RF is a RadioLINK™ strobe light for the deaf and hard of hearing in a daylight room. It is designed to give a visual warning in the event of the Alarm system being triggered. The Ei171RF consists of a control box with integral strobe.
The Ei171RF is designed to be powered from a permanent mains supply and is supplied with a 13A 3-pin plug. It also contains a rechargeable lead acid battery that provides back-up power in the event of mains failure.
The Ei171RF has a built-in high intensity Xenon strobe with a specifically designed lens that provides wide-angle light output. An integral 'Test' button on the front of the unit allows an easy means of testing the strobe, and the RadioLINK™ alarms in the system.
The Ei171RF uses advanced transceiver and signal coding technology to ensure robust and reliable RF signalling. It also has a House Code feature that allows a system of RadioLINK™ alarms and devices to be coded together to prevent interference with neighbouring systems.
An Ei171RF has clear LED's for power, RadioLINK™ transmission, fault and alarm. There is also an auxiliary 3.5mm mono jack plug socket on top of the unit for connecting an alarm clock (5V to 24V AC or DC output).
