Wire Strippers  

Wire strippers are handheld tools designed for fatigue free, repetitive stripping of insulation or outer sheath from flat & round cables & wires in a fraction of the time of traditional tools.

There are two basic categories of wire strippers: the manual and the automatic versions.

The manual tool is similar to a cutter with two scissor-like jaws and features a row of different gauge notches. To use, simply slot the wire into the corresponding notch, close the jaws and pull off the insulation.

Automatic wire strippers are simple use with a series of clever mechanisms to both grip the wire, close the jaws and pull off the insulation. Slot the wire into the correct notch size and in one motion by squeezing the handles, it removes the insulation.
