SWA Storm Cable Glands
The SWA STORM cable gland range offers electricians a versatile alternative to conventional armoured cable glands, combining faster fitting with IP68 ingress protection. Suitable for SWA armoured, non-armoured, SY and CY braided cables, the innovative design reduces the number of different gland types installers need to carry for common applications. STORM glands are manufactured using robust, non-corrosive materials and feature UV-stabilised, zero-halogen construction, making them suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor environments. The design requires no separate shroud and incorporates anti-rotation technology to help prevent unwanted movement of the armour during fitting and cable pulling. Available from 20mm S Type through to 32mm, each pack contains two glands, two earth tags and two brass locknuts for a practical, professional cable termination solution.
