SWA Cables
SWA cable, otherwise known as steel wire armoured cable, is the standard that is accepted for all industrial wiring as well as for mains power distribution cables used underground, for networks, indoors, outdoors, and in cable ducting. Sometimes called SWA armoured cable, this type of cabling comes in a range of varieties and thicknesses to suit a range of needs.
The steel wire armoured cables that we supply come in 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 core LSF and PVC insulated varieties up to a maximum of 16mm2 as well as NYY-J PVC cable. All of the options that we retail can be cut to length by the metre, so you only need to order the length that you require to save you money and guard against costly wastage.
