3-core armoured cable are predominantly used for industrial wiring and mains distribution, in and around buildings and other similar environments.
Our 3-core SWA cable is available with both a standard sheath made of PVC and also a low-smoke, zero-halogen LSF alternative.
Designed to be installed in air, clipped to surface, on cable tray/ladder work, embedded in concrete and buried direct or in ducting underground. The steel wire armour provides additional protection where mechanical stress has the potential to cause damage to the cable, such as direct burial, outdoors or underground. The armour also enables the cable to withstand higher pulling loads.
6943B LSF (zero-halogen cable) alternative is designed for installation where fire, smoke emission and toxic fumes create a potential threat to life and equipment.
