Our 3-core SWA cable is available with both a standard sheath made of PVC and also a low-smoke, zero-halogen LSF alternative. Designed to be installed in air, clipped to surface, on cable tray/ladder work, embedded in concrete and buried direct or in ducting underground. The steel wire armour provides additional protection where mechanical stress has the potential to cause damage to the cable, such as direct burial, outdoors or underground. The armour also enables the cable to withstand higher pulling loads.
