The Wiska SH6802AW SHARK SIXEIGHT Blue Polyamide Pre-Filled Gel Straight Insulated Joint is a high-performance cable jointing solution designed for low-voltage electrical systems requiring fast, reliable protection against moisture and dust. Part of the SHARK SIXEIGHT range, this gel joint eliminates the need for mixing or pouring resin — simply insert and close for immediate operation with lasting performance.

Engineered for use with 5-core cables from 2.5 mm² to 10 mm², it is ideal for both steel wire armoured (SWA) and unarmoured PVC/XLPE/EPR cables in demanding environments. The pre-filled silicone gel provides excellent electrical insulation and strong mechanical performance. With an IP68 rating, the SH6802AW delivers 100 % watertight and dust-tight protection, making it suitable for outdoor, buried, duct and wet location installations.

Modular bolts, gaskets, earth braid and spring coil accessories are included for a complete, secure electrical and mechanical connection. The joint’s re-enterable design allows access for inspection or re-termination without replacing the gel, reducing long-term maintenance costs and downtime.
