SWA 50-16TQ Description

The SWA 50-16TQ is an uninsulated copper tube terminal with M16 stud for terminating 50mm² cable. Manufactured from seamless copper tube to BS EN 12449:1999.

Designed with bell-mouthed entry for easy termination to cable and inspection window which enables the installer to ensure full and correct insertion of the conductor and a flared entry to enable a smooth transition from terminal to conductor.

Manufactured from 99.5% copper and fully annealed to ensure optimum ductility and prevent deformation such as cracking and splitting when crimping. They provide a clean, easy and reliable electrical and mechanical connection.

Predominantly used to terminate mains or power cables whether it be in switch gear, motor and transformer terminal blocks or commercial distribution boards
