BG Electrical WP22RCD Description
The BG Electrical WP22RCD Nexus Storm is a 2 gang 13A double pole RCD protected switched socket enclosed in grey IP66 polycarbonate weatherproof enclosure that protects the electricity supply from water and dust ingress in the most arduous of conditions.
Switched socket is the latching (passive) type with 30mA trip current, 40 milli-second trip speed. The RCD protection cuts off power safely and prevents electrocution in the event of a fault, the latching operation means the unit returns to the original state when power is resumed.
The simple and modern design features an easy to use retaining clip for trust that sockets are safe and protected from liquids while in use. The durable seals will maintain integrity over the product’s life.
Its transparent cover will stay open to allow easy access to sockets, is durable and see-through allowing the status of switches to be seen. It comes with covers to seal the fixing screws - giving added protection.
Supplied with colour coded terminals with backed out captive screws make for quick and simple installation. Features cable entry knock outs on all 4 sides ensuring the unit is versatile for all environments.
The IP66 rated enclosure has been robustly constructed, with polycarbonate housing, high impact resistance and is long lasting, designed not to crack or fade.
