Ansell Lighting AREELEDA/BL Description

The Ansell Lighting AREELEDA/BL Reef CCT Adjustable Surface Downlight combines compact architectural styling with directional LED illumination for residential and hospitality applications. Finished in matt black, its durable polycarbonate construction is specifically suited to coastal locations, making it a practical alternative to metal fittings in environments where corrosion can be a concern.

The efficient 5W integrated LED delivers 480 lumens at 4000K, while 3CCT selectability provides a choice of 3000K Warm White, 4000K Cool White or 6000K Daylight from one fitting. This allows installers to select the preferred colour temperature on site, providing greater flexibility across different rooms and lighting schemes.

Unlike the fixed Reef surface downlight, the adjustable design allows the light direction to be altered, making it particularly useful for highlighting features or directing illumination towards specific areas. A broad 90° beam angle provides useful coverage, while CRI 80 supports natural and consistent colour appearance.

Installation is simplified by Ansell's unique lockable base plate with push-fit loop-in/loop-out terminals, helping reduce wiring time and achieve a neat finished installation. Measuring just Ø85mm × 110mm high, the AREELEDA/BL combines compact dimensions with an L80 54,000-hour LED lifetime, making it a low-maintenance solution for contemporary surface-mounted lighting.
