The Timeguard MLB3001 Scanning PIR & Photocell Controller is a powerful motion-activated sensor unit engineered to provide automatic control for exterior lighting, security systems and electrical loads in both new and existing installations. Featuring a wide-angle 220° scanning PIR sensor with up to 12 m detection range, this unit detects human movement and triggers connected lights or devices with responsive precision.

With an adjustable light level (lux) setting and time duration control, the MLB3001 enables you to tailor activation behaviour — from brief triggers to extended illumination — depending on ambient conditions and desired usage. The integrated photocell means it only activates in low light, conserving energy and improving efficiency.
