Wylex AFDD Arc Fault Detection Devices  

Wylex AFDDs add protection against electrical fires caused by arcing faults in ring and radial circuits. Each listed device incorporates a Type A 30mA RCBO, combining arc detection with overload, short-circuit and residual-current protection. Double-pole switching disconnects live and neutral, while automatic self-testing every 15 hours checks device operation. Status indicators provide fault-finding assistance, helping electricians investigate a trip. The range offers B-curve characteristics, 6kA breaking capacity and six current ratings: 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 32A and 40A.
