Wylex REC Enclosed Isolators
The Wylex isolator has been designed to make connection of consumer unit tails to the electricity supply not only much easier and more convenient, but also highly secure.
A Wylex isolator with enclosure is made to be installed in between the consumer unit and meter, thus allowing for the meter installation to be completed in the most convenient and efficient way possible.
Thanks to the sealed split cover that the Wylex REC2 enclosed isolator features, it is easy to secure the meter tails connections before putting the isolator into its off position. As a result, security of the connections can be ensured.
As an added advantage, since many housing associations, local authorities, and electrical contractors have now standardised the installation of REC enclosed isolators at the time of changing a consumer unit, future works will be able to be executed more safely and swiftly than before thanks to this provision.
