Kewtech EZYPATPLUS Description

The Kewtech EZYPATPLUS PAT Tester is an easy-to-use, non–downloading, battery operated PAT Tester optimised for testing Class I and Class II appliances, including items which require a power supply in order to be fully tested, i.e. appliances with electronic on/off switches such as computers and TVs. Furthermore, this PAT tester can also be used to examine extension leads.

It is ergonomically designed and lightweight making it practical as well as versatile and easy-to-use. Its battery operation also adds to its practicality, as this PAT tester can perform up to approximately 1400 tests before the batteries begin to expire.

The continuity test function on the EZYPATPLUS uses a 200mA test current (safe for IT) and can be extended up to a five second test. The insulation resistance test has options of 500V or 250V test voltage, which allows testing on surge-protected extension leads. The tester is also capable of substitute leakage measurement and polarity checking on extension leads. The null function also cancels out the resistance of test leads for increased accuracy.

All testing results will be on display through a back-lit LCD Screen alongside the PASS or FAIL indication. The screen glows green to indicate a PASS and red to indicate a FAIL, so the overall result is immediately apparent. On the EZYPAT PLUS there are clear labelled buttons that initiate automatic test sequences on Class I appliances, Class II appliances and extension leads.

When you need to power on the appliance to test fully, then the EZYPATPLUS is a great non-downloading option. This PAT tester has all the features of the EZYPAT and in addition, it will conduct a run leakage test at 110V and 230V.
