Wiska MP0100W Description

The Wiska Magic Gel MP0100W MP-GEL 100 is a 1000ml box of two-component silicone gel suitable for electrical insulation on electronic boards, cables and components up to 600W /1kV.

Main use is as a potting compound by immersing electrical components housed in this gel you can boost the ingress protection rating of an enclosure or junction box to IP68, completely safe to be fully submerged in water.

The box contains 2 x 500ml bottles which when mixed together forms a transparent silicone gel that will insulate electrical components. Also included is a mixing jug and spatchula.

The gel can be re-entered and partially removed if necessary and can be resealed by topping up the gel, the gel has a high resistance to shock because of its flexibility, and increases resistance to water ingress as submersion depth increases. It has an ingress of IP68. Also, the gel has no expiry date and reusable after opening.

Ideal for swimming pools, ponds or outdoor lighting.
