The Wiska SH506W SHARK CLASSIC Pre-Filled Gel Insulated Joint is a reliable and easy-to-install cable jointing solution engineered for secure electrical connections in demanding environments. Part of the Wiska SHARK Classic range, this gel-filled straight joint is suitable for both flexible and steel wire armoured (SWA) cables from 1.5 mm² to 6 mm² per core, making it ideal for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.

Unlike traditional resin joints, the SH506W comes pre-filled with silicone gel that does not require mixing, pouring or curing — saving time on site and allowing the joint to be re-enterable for maintenance or re-termination. It includes a 5-way insulated terminal block, retention clamp, earth braid and constant force roll springs, providing excellent electrical insulation and strong mechanical performance.

With an IP68 rating, this joint delivers outstanding watertight and dustproof protection, making it suitable for both underground and overhead installations, in cable ducts and outdoor environments where long-term cable sealing is critical.
