Wago Connectors 224-101 Description
The Wago 224-101 grey standard type 1 way lighting connector is the ideal connection between solid single-stranded conductors with flexible multi-stranded conductors of up to 2.5 mm². Designed specifically for fitting wall mounting and ceiling luminaries.
It is a quick, push-in connection of solid conductors at the installation side and easy connection of fine-stranded conductors at the lighting side without the need for any tools. Quick, easy testing is available using a separate test slot.
Simply insert the solid conductor on one side, press the clip together and push in the fine strand conductor on the other side.
Special 105⁰C high-temperature design for applications with increased continuous service temperatures.
They meet the most stringent UK and international standards including the electrical requirements of BS7671 18th Edition.
Can be used with WAGOBOX 51257303.

How it works
- Strip both conductors to 9-11mm
- Insert the solid conductor fully into the installation side
- To connect the lighting side squeeze together the housing and insert the conductor fully, then release to complete the connection
- To remove the installation side, simply twist and pull the conductor at the same time.
- To remove the lighting side squeeze together the housing and pull out the conductor
