SY Control Multi Flex Cables  

SY Flexible Multicore cables are designed to be used as interconnecting cable for measuring, controlling or regulation in control equipment for assembly and production lines, conveyors and for computer units. It is commonly used in a wide number of industries including building and construction, rail and transport infrastructures, transmission and automation and process control.

Due to the triple protection to resist hostile environments and mechanical strength provided by their galvanised steel wire braid,  SY multicore cables are widely used where the installation is subjected to medium mechanical stresses. Suitable for internal dry, damp or wet environments (including oil-water mixtures), and can be used outdoors when protected against direct sunlight.

Construction: Fine strands of bare copper wire with PVC inner sheath. Overall screen made of tinned steel wire braid with transparent PVC outer sheath.

Conductor: Class 5 flexible annealed copper conductors to BS EN 60228:2005 (previously BS6360), VDE0295, IEC 60228

4 Core - Brown, Black, Grey, Green/Yellow
5 Core - Blue, Brown, Black, Grey, Green/Yellow
7 Core - Black with White numbers, Green/Yellow
Voltage Rating: 300/500 Volts
Temperature Rating: Fixed: -35°C to +70°C, Flexing: -15°C to +70°C.
