Dimplex XLE150 Description

The Dimplex XLSE Series XLE150 is a white LOT 20 1.5kW slimline digital fan assisted storage heater has a clean look and reliable performance and is designed to replace older style conventional storage heaters. The sleek design blends seamlessly into its surroundings, quietly and efficiently producing cost-effective heating. 

Represents the new non-high heat retention standard for storage heating in the UK. The energy efficiency of the heater has been boosted with new and upgraded advanced intelligent controls.

XLE150 offers a dynamic storage calculation, adjusting the amount of energy that is stored to meet the user’s requirements without wastage. As a result, a greater amount of electricity can be saved with off-peak energy.

Quiet fan assisted heat output - when boost is required in colder weather the internal fan has the ability to quietly and quickly distribute heat to warm a room when required. Requires two electricity supplies one for off-peak and one on-peak for the fan.

Heat leakage, a common trait of conventional storage heaters, as been significantly reduced allowing the room to be at a more comfortable temperature when the morning comes around and still have enough stored energy to heat during the night time. The Dimplex XLE150 has a storage core constructed from high-density bonded magnetite energy cells, which are excellent at storing heat.

Users now have greater control over their heating with the built-in timer, delivering variable programmable room temperatures with three seven-day timer profiles

The easy to read display with an RGB backlit digital graphical display has simple to use buttons with audio feedback. The controller can also be locked by a PIN code to prevent tampering. The controller system has a battery back up that saves re-programming after power outages.

Adaptive Start pre-heats the room ahead of a programmed heating schedule for exactly the amount of time required to meet the desired target temperature at the desired time. For example, if the product was following a timer which was set to 21 degrees at 7am, with Adaptive Start the product will begin heating before 7am to achieve 21 degrees at 7am.

Open Window detection monitors the room temperature while the heater attempts to achieve a desired room temperature. If the room temperature does not change or decreases while heat is being emitted, the product will stop heating and enter a standby mode in order to not waste energy.

The XLE150 is a highly efficient heating system with very low running costs maximising off-peak electricity. Low energy and low carbon, great for the user and for the environment.
