The Evec EDC01 PowerPair is an innovative dual wall-mounted EV charger that is the ideal solution for households or businesses with multiple electric vehicles. Combining a 5 m tethered Type 2 cable and a universal socket, this smart 7.4 kW charger offers unbeatable flexibility.

The most affordable dual charger in the UK, the EDC01 can charge one vehicle at full power or intelligently split its output to charge two vehicles simultaneously from a single charger.

Features both a 5-meter tethered Type 2 cable and an untethered universal Type 2 socket. This unique "PowerPair" design provides maximum flexibility, allowing you to charge two EVs at the same time.

The charger has a combined total output of 7.4kW. When only one vehicle is plugged in, it receives the full 7.4kW charge. When two cars are connected, the power is intelligently split, providing a consistent 3.7kW to each vehicle.

Connect to the EVEC App via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to manage the charging experience. Set schedules to take advantage of off-peak electricity tariffs, monitor charging status, track energy usage, and even enable "pay-to-charge" options via OCPP 1.6J.

The EDC01 includes integrated PEN protection, over-current protection, and residual current protection (RCD) as standard. This eliminates the need for an additional earth rod, simplifying and reducing the cost of installation while ensuring maximum safety.

Dynamic Load Balancing, the included CT clamp allows the charger to monitor the home or business power consumption and automatically adjust the charging rate to prevent overloading the electrical supply.

The robust IP54 rating and a fire-retardant, corrosion-resistant casing ensure the EDC01 is designed to cope in all weather conditions. The compact design is discreet and suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
