Aico EI168RC Radiolink Base Description

The Aico EI168RC radiolink alarm base is a mains-powered smoke and heat alarm base to fit a range of compatible Aico alarms. Each Aico EI168RC smoke alarm base comes with a lithium battery as a backup to ensure the alarm continues to operate, even during power outages. The EI168RC is also interconnectable with as many as 12 other RF devices, so when one of the alarms goes off, all of the alarms within the system will sound, providing an early warning of a fire.

When its House-Code function is implemented, all the alarms can be installed into a single system to safeguard against any possible interference from another RF system. Furthermore, House Coding stops the Aico EI168RC’s RadioLINK system, causing interference with other systems.

It couldn’t be easier to expand existing interconnected hard-wired systems with the EI168RC radiolink base unit. When the EI168RC is fit to an existing alarm, and the extra alarms are fitted with an EI168RC Radiolink base, the House Code can turn all of the alarms into one system. When either a wireless or wired alarm is triggered, all of the system’s alarms will then sound.
