Aico EI408 Description

The Ei408 is a RadioLINK™ Switched Input Module that when activated by an external device such as a sprinkler flow switch triggers all RadioLINK™, RadioLINK+™ and SmartLINK™ enabled alarms and devices in a system. The module has a set of vol-free contacts for hard wired inputs.

The Ei408 is powered by built in tamper-proof Lithium cells which are designed to last the working life of the module. A battery on/off switch inside the module ensures battery life is maximised during shipping and storage. The cells are monitored and an EOL (End Of Life) indication is given when the cells are depleted.

The Ei408 uses advanced transceiver and signal coding technology to ensure robust and reliable RF signaling. It also has a House-Code feature that allows a system of alarms and devices to be coded together to prevent interference with neighboring systems.

The module is designed to be remotely sited and comes complete in its own enclosure. Wall fixings are supplied.
