Aico EI414 Description

The Ei414 fire and carbon monoxide alarm interface provides either a wireless interface via RF between a RadioLINK™, RadioLINK+™ and SmartLINK™ alarm system. As well as a physical (hard-wired) interface via a link cable between warden call / telecare systems.

The Ei414 decodes RF fire and/or carbon monoxide signals from the P & RP devices and activates the relevant onboard relays. The relays must be wired to the (universal) RF transmitters or via a special link cable to the Warden Call Systems. The Warden Call System in turn is programmed to perform the desired function, on receipt of these signals.

The Ei414 can deliver a pulse signal or a continuous switched signal via the relays to the universal transmitters. The specific signal type will be determined by the requirement of the OEM universal sensor.

The Ei414 contains x 3 mains rated relays (rated up to 250V AC / 5 Amps). The relay contacts operate on mains power or on battery back-up cells in the event of a mains failure.

The Ei414 has a ket switch with 3 positions:
ON - sends a signal from an Aico alarm but not a controller
TEST - sends a signal from an Aico alarm and controller
OFF - no signal sent from an Aico alarm or controller

The Ei414 uses RadioLINK™ multi-repeater, multi-path technology to deliver very robust and reliable RF signal coverage. While designed primarily to interface with a Warden Call or similar Telecare system, the verstility of the Ei414's electrically isolated contacts means it can be used to switch many other OEM devices.
