JCC Lighting JC010010/NB Description

The JCC Lighting JC010010/NB Fireguard Next Generation is an IP20 fixed mains voltage 7W GU10 fire-rated downlight can only that requires both a bezel and GU10 LED lamp - not supplied to complete the installation.

Designed specifically for use with LED lamps and with a host of design features that ensure all aspects of the installation process such as termination, ceiling entry and ceiling construction were considered to ensure simplicity for the electrical contractor.

Supplied with a push-fit wiring connector that helps to speed up installation times. Unlike usual GU10 downlights that have a terminal block attached to the back of the downlight, the Fireguard Next Generation comes with a proper loop-in, loop-out wiring connector with press-fit terminals and cable clamp hinge.

JCC has shortened the can, allowing for use in shallower voids. The can shape of Fireguard Next Generation has been tapered at the top, this allows for the spring clips to fold further back meaning the width is limited, this and the flexibility of a detached terminal block make ceiling insertion simple. The cut out diameter is the optimal size for most retrofits at 74mm.

The downlight is specially designed to be insulation coverable, shaped to allow for air flow and provide ventilation for the LED, lengthening its life span, making the downlight perfect for usage in insulated ceilings. The Fireguard Downlights are 30, 60 and 90 minute fire rated, helping to prevent the spread of fire.

Fireguard Next Generation has been tested for use in Solid, I-Joist and steel open web joist ceiling construction types and adheres to part B, C and E of the building regulations.

Requires a detachable twist and lock IP20 or IP65 aluminium bezel finished in white, chrome and brushed nickel - available to order separately. These modern and ultra slim 3mm bezels offer a more minimal appearance.
