Ansell Lighting AREFS/BD/PIR/B/1 Description

The Ansell Lighting AREFS/BD/PIR/B/1 Reef S Bi-Directional LED Wall Light combines decorative architectural lighting with practical PIR motion detection, making it ideal for residential and hospitality exterior lighting. Its durable black polycarbonate construction is particularly suited to coastal environments, while IP65 weather protection and IK10 impact resistance provide excellent durability for exposed outdoor installations.

An efficient 10W integrated LED delivers 700 lumens at 4000K, with 2CCT selection between 3000K Warm White and 4000K Cool White allowing the preferred colour appearance to be selected during installation. The bi-directional design projects light both upwards and downwards, producing an attractive architectural effect across walls, entrances, façades and outdoor entertaining areas.

An integrated PIR sensor automatically activates the light when movement is detected, providing convenient illumination while helping avoid unnecessary continuous operation. The fitting is also supplied with two interchangeable Gobo inserts, enabling distinctive decorative beam effects and giving installers greater flexibility when creating an exterior lighting scheme.

Ansell has designed the Reef S for straightforward installation with a unique lockable base plate, push-fit loop-in/loop-out terminals and dedicated WAGO park area for efficient wiring. Combined with its compact tubular profile, long-life LED technology and robust coastal-suitable construction, the AREFS/BD/PIR/B/1 provides an attractive and practical solution for modern motion-activated outdoor wall lighting.
