The Hager VMES02SPD has been specifically developed to protect residential electrical installations from transient overvoltages caused by lightning strikes and switching events. Suitable for TN-C-S (PME), TN-S and TT earthing systems, the VMES02SPD is a CT2 Type 2 surge protection device incorporating a high-performance surge protection module and a replaceable cartridge. The pluggable cartridge design allows routine inspection and replacement without interrupting the supply to connected loads, minimising downtime and simplifying ongoing maintenance.

For added convenience, the unit features an optical status indicator, enabling electricians to quickly verify the operational status of the SPD and identify when cartridge replacement is required.
