The Scolmore Elucian CU1RCBOD40B Bi-Directional RCBO provides earth fault, overcurrent and short-circuit protection within a single compact device. Rated at 40A with a B Curve tripping characteristic and 30mA residual current sensitivity, this Type A RCBO provides individual circuit protection while occupying just one module within a compatible Elucian consumer unit.

Its bi-directional design allows a source of supply to be connected to either set of connection terminals, providing increased flexibility for modern electrical systems where current may flow in either direction. The 1 pole + switched neutral configuration switches both line and neutral, while Type A residual current protection is designed to respond to both AC and pulsating DC residual currents.

Featuring a true 6kA breaking capacity, 240V AC rating and compact 17.8mm width, the CU1RCBOD40B combines comprehensive circuit protection with efficient use of consumer unit space.
