Timeguard IS4N-32DC Description

The Timeguard IS4N-32DC DC Rotary Isolator Switch provides robust and reliable manual isolation for 32 A DC circuits, making it ideal for renewable energy installations such as solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage batteries, EV power systems and other DC-powered applications where safe isolation is essential for maintenance, emergency shutdown and compliance. Built with a weatherproof IP66 thermoplastic enclosure, this isolator delivers excellent protection against dust and powerful water jets — suitable for harsh internal or external environments.

Designed for installer convenience and long-term reliability, the IS4N-32DC features on-load switch disconnectors for safe circuit breaking, a rotary switch with clear ON/OFF positions, and an interlocked front cover that can only be removed when the switch is in the OFF position to help reduce risk during servicing. The switch can also be padlock-locked in the OFF position to prevent unauthorised operation.
