Wylex DSF80M Description
The Wylex DSF80M is an all metal dedicated 80A single phase sub main switchfuse designed for use in domestic premises making the installation and connection of sub mains or system extensions quick and easy. Particularly suited to when larger single occupancy buildings are being converted into several individual apartments.
This robust non-combustible unit is supplied with a 80A BS1361 fuse link that sits within an easy open rotating fuse drawer mechanism to make access for fuse change easy and quick. The switch also incorporates a locking location to aid secure isolation practices.
Feature dual screw terminals on L and N connections (similar to meter connections) that accept cables up to a maximum of 35mm² and minimum of 16mm². The integral earth terminals are 16mm max.
Designed with a selection of 32mm knockouts on the top and bottom of the unit are provided for fast installation & ease of cabling. Use of meter tail kit is recommended to provide mechanical protection, added insulation, and the necessary IP rating for cable entries.
Fully Amendment3 BS7671 compliant ensuring it meets the latest fire regulations. Finished in low smoke & fume paint and includes a metal door that is screw retained.
