Greenwood Airvac CV2.1 Description

The Greenwood Airvac CV2.1 Unity is a white round IPX5 mains voltage continuous running de-centralised MEV fan with humidistat and adjustable overrun timer and is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting in bathrooms, WCs or kitchens, in apartments or houses.

Tested and certified against the updated 2021 UK Building Regulations that has increased the required trickle ventilation requirement from 2,500mm² to 4,000mm² whilst also making alterations to the minimum continuous running levels. The CV2.1 offers specifiers the confidence to commission a fully functional and compliant solution into homes.

This near silent 11db(A) continuously running fan is one of the quietest fans on the market delivering a total solution in one box.

It is one single unit which can be installed in all wet rooms including kitchen, bathroom, utility and WCs removing the need for large ducting networks and high background ventilation requirements.

With outstanding energy performance and in-built SMART technology it meets and exceeds the current Building Regulations in both new and refurbishment housing projects each and every time. SMART Technology features intelligent sensing via the TimerSMART™ and HumidiSMART™ technologies which monitor the homes environment and switches between Trickle and Boost Airflow modes when required.

The Kitchen and Bathroom buttons provide pre-set ventilation rates for different rooms to allow for rapid commissioning. Bathroom rates range from 6 l/s to 8 l/s in boost mode. Kitchen rates range from 8 l/s to 13 l/s in boost mode. The short 68mm spigot design means that the CV2.1 is ideal for use where ceiling voids are shallow.

The innovative capacitive sensing controls of Unity CV2.1 have been specifically designed to help reduce the time for set-up and make on-site commissioning as straight-forward as possible. Once on-site, the installer simply sets up the unit by selecting the room type, trickle or boost speeds and then turning controls, such as humidity and timer, on.

Designed to seamlessly blend in within a bathroom or kitchen setting. A non-vision front grille conceals the impellor, and the distinctive circular design allows the fan to be fitted without appearing out of line with surrounding fixtures. The fascia benefits from a "twist-lock" feature which allows for easy removal providing easy access to the central impellor for cleaning and general maintenance.

Once calibrated, the controls can be locked to avoid unnecessary changes being made to the fan’s running mode. Unity CV2.1 will also remember it’s calibrated settings in the event of loss of power, such as a power cut or during any maintenance to the property or the unit

It will operate efficiently and reliably from the moment it is installed and commissioned, making it ideal for new build projects. This reliability also helps reduce call out times and visits and ensures easy management of housing stock.
