6242Y Twin & Earth
This 6242Y twin and earth cable has been fully BASEC approved and is suitable for use in all fixed installation in either domestic or light industrial premises. Suitable for installation in either dry or damp conditions, this 6242Y cable can be installed on walls, trays, or boards, in channels, or embedded in plaster whenever an earth continuity conductor is necessary. This cable is suitable for laying in trunking or conduit if mechanical protection is required.
This wiring cable features the standard colours, with a protective grey sheath, colour coded brown and blue PVC insulated cores, and an uninsulated circuit protective conductor. Certified to BS6004 standards, this wiring cable has a voltage rating of 300/500 volts.
Available in all sizes from 1.0mm up to 16mm, this product is available in either twin and earth 100m reels, 50m or 25m reels, with sizes from 1.0-2.5mm using Class 1 solid copper conductor and sizes from 4.0-16mm using Class 2 stranded copper conductor meeting BS EN 60228:2005 standards.
