BG Electrical Nexus Grid Metal Mounting Boxes are built to offer installers robust and reliable support for Nexus Grid module configurations in a wide range of electrical installations. Constructed from heavy-gauge, scratch-resistant steel, these metal boxes are suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial environments, helping ensure a long-lasting installation backbone. The range includes surface and flush mounting options, such as the MC503 metalclad surface/flush box for 6- & 8-gang grids and the HGS68 steel double flush box for 6- & 8-module grids, allowing flexibility depending on wall type and wiring approach. For larger configurations, the HGS912 9- & 12-gang flush metal box supports extended multi-module panel layouts with ample space and multiple knockout points for cable entry. Each mounting box features multiple knockouts and a fitted earth terminal as standard, simplifying wiring runs and supporting effective grounding during installation. The rugged metal construction also provides enhanced mechanical protection around modules and wiring compared to plastic enclosures, making these boxes ideal for areas where durability and safety are priorities.
