Hager KLDS12 Description

The Hager KLDS12 Klik is a 12 way 6A marshalling lighting distribution box brings plug-in convenience and versatility for lighting. It is a unique modular plug and socket interface that provides simultaneous mechanical and electrical connection in one click-in action.

Speeds up a previously very time consuming job by making it extremely simple to connect a large amount of luminaires to one central power hub. Klik KLDS eliminates the need for on-site wiring of individual fittings in large commercial or industrial projects.

Used in conjunction with 3 and 4 pin Klik plugs, luminaires can be connected in seconds, in absolute safety, without circuit isolation. All live contacts are inaccessible and the earthing connection is made before any other.

The KLDS12 marshalling box now has the capacity for dual circuit switching. Supplied as a single circuit, simply removing the link converts KLDS into two separate circuits. These circuits can be controlled via wall switch or occupancy sensor. The main terminals are rated at 16A and each socket outlet is rated at 6A each. The flexible conductor terminals are rated at 10A.

The non wander design prevents disconnection of the plug from its socket by vibration or snatch withdrawals. Strong load grips provide support for luminaires up to 10kg, so all types and sizes of luminaires can be safely used.

Suitable for hanging from the ceiling suspension system in a position central to the luminaires. Compact dimensions allow for installation in confined ceiling voids. The terminal cover slides off from the front facilitating KLDS usage in confined spaces. KLDS can be fixed direct to ceiling or wall with 8 screws.

KLDS12 exceeds the relevant British Standard requirements and enables compliance with IEE Wiring Regulations and Safety Regulations.
