Zip Aquapoint 3 AP3/05 Description

Zip AP3/05 Aquapoint III is a 5 litre unvented undersink water heater suitable for serving single or multiple hot water outlets. It has a glass lined steel storage tank tested to 12 bar and a sacrificial anode is fitted for protection against aggressive water conditions. The tank comes equipped with a 2.0 kW heating element, guaranteeing a steady and efficient hot water supply.

Zip Aquapoint III AP3/05 has external temperature control with frost protection and is used with conventional taps or mixers. Safety features include a sacrificial anode, an adjustable thermostat with a range up to 75ºC, a resettable over-temperature safety cut-out, and high-density CFC-free polyurethane foam insulation.

Zip Aquapoint III 5 Litre Water Heater is supplied with an installation kit complete with wall mounting bracket.

Installation

Separate models available for oversink and undersink installation.
All models can be wall mounted.
Undersink units can be installed unsupported on the floor if required.
All models can supply one outlet or multiple outlets, subject to capacity, without the need for special taps.

Plumbing

Water connections ½" / 15mm BSP.
Minimum recommended water pressure 1 bar.
Pressure relief valve (supplied) set at 6 bar.
Pressure and temperature relief valve requires plumbing to waste in accordance with water byelaws.
Should be installed only by a suitably experienced installer of unvented electric storage water heaters.
Oversink and undersink models not interchangeable

Electrical

To be wired to a double pole fused spur, minimum break rating 13 amps.
Installation must comply with current IEE regulations.
Supplied with 1 metre of pre-wired cable.

Caution

Variable temperature water heaters should be set only in strict compliance with regulations governing the temperature of stored and dispensed hot water.
