Aico EI144E Heat Alarm Description

The Aico EI144E mains powered heat alarm with battery backup delivers excellent functionality with a modern, slim casing for seamless blending into contemporary interiors. The Aico EI144E heat alarm responds to the build up of heat from flaming large fires, with its built-in thermistor triggering the alarm as soon as the temperature in the room reaches 58°C.

The Aico EI144E is primarily a mains powered heat alarm, but also features a 9V replaceable alkaline backup battery, which can last as long as four years when in standby mode. It can also power the alarm with no mains power for up to two years.

Interconnection of the Aico EI144E heat alarm with other accessories and alarms is possible either via a hard-wired connection or via wireless RadioLINK interconnection to minimise disruption and mess. The EI144E is also compatible with a RadioLINK Base to interconnect wirelessly.

The Aico EI144E detector couldn’t be quicker or easier to install thanks to its Easi-fit base which connects both the battery and mains power automatically immediately upon sliding on the alarm. The perfect choice to protect garages, kitchens, and any other area that could suffer from false alarms, this heat alarm is fully approved to British Standard BS5446-2:2003 KM 83678 for complete peace of mind.
