Aico EI144E-PACK (Pack of 4) Description

The Aico EI144E heat alarm is the upgraded version of the EI144RC that delivers the same great functionality in a slimmer, more modern aesthetic casing that allows seamless blending within today's modern interiors.

Mains powered heat alarm responds to heat build-up from large flaming fires which are commonly caused by kitchen fires. The inbuilt thermistor triggers the alarm when the room temperature reaches 58°C.

The alarm contains a replaceable 9V Alkaline battery back-up capable of lasting up to 4 years in standby mode and capable of powering the alarm for up to 2 years without mains power.

The Ei144e Heat alarm can be interconnected with other alarms and accessories through hard wire connection or, for less mess and disruption, by RadioLINK wireless interconnection. It is compatible with the Ei168RC RadioLINK Base for wireless interconnection.

The alarm is supplied with an Easi-fit base that allows very quick and simple installation of the smoke alarm, combined with simple alarm head removal and replacement. The Easi-fit base automatically connects both mains power and battery as the alarm slides on.

Ideal for protecting kitchens and garages and other areas subject to false alarms such as burnt toast.

Has been approved to BSI BS 5446-2:2003 KM 83678.
