Hager VME02SPD Description

The Hager VME02SPD is a 2 module Type 2 surge protection kit with integrated busbar and patented automatic earth connection to the DIN rail and a 6mm earth cable suitable for installation in the Hager Vision range of domestic consumer units.

Convert unprotected Hager boards to Surge protected units with this handy kit. CT2 type device to ensure compatibility with all common UK Earthing arrangement

Protects equipment against electrical surges and transient over-voltages with a typical wave form of 8/20 μs such as those caused by power surges, insulation failure, arcing ground and resonance. Limiting damage to sensitive and expensive electrical equipment such as TVs, washing machines, PCs, alarms etc.

Specifically developed to ensure optimal performance of SPD technology within Hager residential single phase consumer units.

Line and Neutral connections are via 2 pole copper busbar from the SPD to the supply side of the main incoming device terminated within the top of the devices bi-connect, the earth cable will be terminated within the main earth bar within the consumer unit, and terminated in either the left hand or right hand earth terminal at the top of the SPD ensuring connections are tighten to 3.6Nm.

The units come complete with a lifetime indicator and benefit from a 8/20 µs current wave.
