Dilog DL9118 Description

The Dilog DL9118 is an advanced, highly precise multifunction tester designed for the professional electrician. It can test voltage, continuity, insulation, loop impedance (at both high and low current), performs loop test PFC measurements, high current loop impedance, line test PSC and RCD trip time/trip current tests.

The unique RCD-LOC XLT non-trip loop test does provides a very accurate test result without the risk of tripping RCDs whilst the instrument’s auto-start function saves time without compromising accuracy. 

Auto-start is also available for the PSCC test which has a direct readout to quickly determine whether protective devices meet the required standards. Continuity testing boasts a null function to negate the effects of lead resistance alongside auto-start.  For RCDs, the tester checks both trip time and trip current with sophisticated methods such as auto-testing and ramp current for improved speed and accuracy. Insulation resistance measurement is available with test voltages of 250V, 500V and 1000V whilst the voltage and frequency measurement adds more detail to the user’s picture of system performance. Phase rotation indication and socket polarity testing complete a comprehensive list of test functions.

Equipped with the UK's largest colour LCD display, the DL9118 makes it easy to view all of your measurements results and colour-coded screens which flash when errors are made to ensure you do everything right, every single time.

Thanks to an included remote test probe, you don't even have to be near your meter to start testing! Just connect up, change to the settings you need and activate the test with your probe whenever you're ready. Furthermore, the device is fully protected against potential damage caused by inadvertent connection cross phases.

Operation of the tester is made easier by a handy neck harness that allows hands-free use and easy function selection. Supplied with a handy toolbox-style carry case and is supplied with everything needed to carry out tests, such as test leads and crocodile clips.
